Honeybees produce propolis from plant resins which they gather to disinfect and keep their hives sterile.  It is produced from a very special group of plants. and has strong anti-bacterial, and anti-fungal properties. 
 
Our propolis tincture is a food-grade alcohol-based product.  It is best used for internal applications (but can also be used externally to disinfect minor wounds). 
 
Propolis is believed to be a strong anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory.  which assists in boosting the immune system, and treatment of ulcers, high cholesterol, and arthritis.  It also helps with allergies, colds and flu.
